Prom is quickly approaching and while you may have the best prom dress, do you have the right body for it? With just a few weeks to go, you do not have time to take on a large-scale diet and exercise regimen to improve your body. You can do several things, though that can help to create an incredible body that is fit and beautiful in your dress. Of course, you should never put your health at risk. However, at this late in the game what can you do to look even better in your dress?
One of the first things you can do is to get on the right diet plan. Take note: you should not do anything crazy and definitely do not starve yourself. Your body may actually gain weight if you do this. Rather, for the next week weeks, eat a very healthy diet and one that will help you to lose weight. Eat a diet rich in antioxidants (look for the deeply colored vegetables) which will help to flush out toxins. Also, avoid red meat and instead eat a diet of fish and lean chicken. This too will help you to lose weight.
Losing weight through your food intake is not all you should be doing, though. You also want to invest in an exercise regimen. For starters, consider some aerobics. You can get this from a workout program, running and swimming. One of the best ways to improve your body's look is to dance away the pounds. Literally! You can take a few dancing aerobic programs and use them to help you to improve your overall body's fitness level. Not only will you look beautiful in your gown, but you also will have all the dance moves down just right.
In addition to this, further tone your muscles. Your muscles are important for several reasons. First, they are easily seen. Second, lean muscles burn through stored fat fast. To do this use some light weight-training exercises. You want to focus on your abdominal muscles, your arms and your legs, all of which will likely be easily seen in your dress. Tone up these muscles by working them with dumbbells over the next two weeks. Always take a full day off in between these workouts, though, to allow the muscles to heal and improve.
If you are an individual who wants to look amazing on prom day, then now is the best time to start working on your diet and your workout regimen. It does not have to be difficult to look great and feel great. Diet, exercise through aerobics and doing some weight training can drastically improve your look in the next two weeks.
